The first in the Nightshade series.
Kayleigh-Lou Nightshade is a untidy, sword wielding, young woman with a certain disreguard for tradition and rules. She trains relentlessly to gain a place in Shiva's Skill's Academy, an Academy only the gifted may attend. A place that has called to her since childhood.
Once Kayleigh-Lou passes the test set by the old fashioned and rather eccentric headmaster she discovers there is more to the world around her, new people, new challenges and something deep inside her is finally released.
Join the reluctant heroine as she uncovers secrets hidden deep in the walls and hallways of the castle, discovers there is more to the stone carvings, painting and even house hold utensils that meets the eye. All this, and there are still classes to attend and pass.
