Whizzer Brown has always come off as cold, uncaring of what society thinks of him, only caring about sex and money.

These things are a protection mechanism. But where did they come from? What was his life like before he met Marvin?

Whizzer's number one goal has always been to survive. No matter what it takes, he'll survive as long as he can manage. Even if it means doing things considered unholy by both religious aspects of his parentage. Sleeping around with men, manipulating people and stealing money. As long as he lives. That's all that matters.

As a child, he wasn't so, but a fair amount of family issues changes him, for better or for worse. He starts to learn things. He learns how to come to terms with his Sexuality. He learns how to love. He learns to live alone and independently.

Most importantly, he learns to be someone other than himself. Someone named Whizzer Brown. And God, Whizzer's a Pretty Boy.
