[Originally published in 2015, rewritten in 2022] Elliot Grady's life has never been simple by any means, but when her father shows up out of the blue and turns everything upside down, it gets infinitely more complicated. Elliot must navigate her new life and relationship with her father (whom she hasn't seen in almost eight years), all while spending her days alongside extinct prehistoric animals. Zach and Gray Mitchell don't exactly have it easy, either. Their parents are getting divorced, and the trip to Jurassic World they were supposed to spend with their aunt turns bad when the dinosaurs get out. We Are Grounders
Earth. It was the final destination for the citizens of the Ark, 100 years after the nuclear bombs that wiped out human civilisation and swamped the planet with radiation. But the Ark is dying. A fault in the system means that they won't last another three years without running out of oxygen. Sent to the ground, 100 expendable delinquents were to see if it was survivable. It was a suicide mission. A death sentence. But it was found that the ground wasn't consumed by radiation. Rather there was a different threat to those teenagers. A threat that was more ruthless and cunning. One that wanted war... They know that they will have to stick together. That they will be tested by the Earth and the secrets that it hides. And one girl, with secrets of her own, has enough determination to not only survive, but thrive. *** I do not own any part of The 100 tv series or book series, only my characters. Time
This is my first fictional piece for something other than school that I've written! I feel accomplished, even though I shouldn't! That's a good feeling, right? Time is the story of Travis, a boy who is thrust into the dangerous worlds of the Forces, the Infinite, and-dreadful as it is-thinking. For the first time in his life, he gets to experience the world, instead of living in the peaceful forest with his guardians. Let's see what happens, shall we? Reading the Prologues is important! They're pretty much chapters too, but they're reserved for mainly stories from the point of view of Forces. This story takes place in a world separate from Earth. In this world, people have Gods and Forces. Gods are the beings they pray to, and the Forces are the things that do all the work. It's a win-win relationship. This is my first full story. You may say that it sucks as much as you want... if you want to. I'd like constructed criticism. Confused by any of the magic, physics, or beliefs? Any questions at all can be asked in the comments for each story part. Sorry, but the different font types I used for the Forces (such as American Typewriter for Death) wouldn't work. I can't change font size for some other characters either, so you don't really get the full effect. I'll try to add more description to how they talk so that the effect is not lost. With the help of her now dead grandmother she can see straight through these lies. She meets a group of individuals named the Indelibles who have the same mindset.
