A year after the events of Sun and Moon Reborn, Stephen is just settling into his life as a champion, and when his girlfriend Lillie returns from the Kanto region he is overjoyed. However things are not right after Lillie's return. Mysterious Wormholes are being torn everywhere into the sky, solar and lunar eclipses are becoming more and more infrequent, Stephen encouncters two mysterious people seemingly from another world seeking help, and a previously unseen third legendary Pokémon is trying to break through to Alola via the Wormholes trying to steal Alola's light. But everything changes when a mysterious organization called Team Rainbow Rocket attacks. Stephen must now not only defeat Necrozma, but also stop the organization from taking over Alola. And when Team Rainbow Rocket unleashes their ultimate weapon, a genetically engineered human child capable of Pokémon abilities, Stephen is pushed to his limit in a battle of not only strength but morals against the almost undefeatable Magenta. But just what lies behind the wormholes created by Necrozma? And unexpected truths may explain his true powers that lie within...
