ever since hermione granger disappeared off the face of the earth during the aftermath of the war, ron weasley hasn't been the same. she was the light of his life, and he hasn't given up on her yet. it's been a year and a half, and now with a steady job in the auror's department, ron is kept busy. but one day, while on a raid/hostage rescue and capture of an ex-death eater, ron is the one to find hermione kept in a corner of the basement, a shell of who she used to be and without any memory of her previous life.
hermione becomes ron's little secret, and he takes her to his flat to try and fix the damage that's been done. as they grow closer, and hermione starts to remember, they fall in love all over again in the process.
