"Who did this Mac?" Max wheezed. I glared at him. "Adaus." I said calmly. Everyone held their breath at the mention of his name. "But if you want to know more, you should ask our parents." My eyes averted to my mother who had covered her mouth and shook her head pleadingly. "Isn't that right Luna?" I mocked. Max got to his feet before I could walk past him and he grabbed my arm. "What does he want from us?" He asked with a slight tremble of fear. "The lost piece of the Lunar goddesses soul. The piece that should have been in Elizabeth." I said as I looked over the forest. "Then who is it Mac?" Max's voice begged. I locked eyes with my mother who was crying in silence. "Isn't it obvious? Why do you think she wanted you to bring me back here? Because she wanted to mend thing between us?" I asked and looked to Max who still looked like he didn't understand. I sighed and pinched the bridge of my nose. "Max, she wanted me here so Adaus would leave you all alone. She wanted me here because I have the Lunar goddess inside me. She wanted me here, so I could die."
