David Valentine is a teen who lives in the big city of Tamul. Charlie Constantine is his best friend of nine years. The two teens work for a lady known as Emilia LaFey, killing Stiffs, Vampires, and other monsters. Life seems normal for the two, but all that changes when they hear word of a plot to kidnap the princess of Endsgaurd. Hearts will be broken, friendships will be tested, and danger is lurking around every corner.

David is a level two mage trained in hand to hand combative magic. Charlie is a level three mage, who makes up for his lack of magic with speed and skill with a sword. Are these boys enough to save their country's princess?
