Matt: an anti-social gamer, Mello: an overly aggressive blonde and Near: an extremely intelligent asocial albino, although Matt and Mello are best friends... trouble starts when Near is in the picture. How will they work together when the three rivals are surprised by L himself coming to the Wammy's House Orphanage to ask them to help him solve a case soon to be known as the Beyond Birthday Murder Case... will they find the murderer? And will they solve this case... together?
