 Nagigising siya sa hindi maipaliwanag na dahilan sa gitna ng madilim at maliwanag na gabi. Ito ay hindi na bago sa kanya dahil simula bata pa raw siya ay problema niya na ito. 

 Lagi nalang malakas at mabilis ang tibok ng puso niya kada siya ay gigising. Itinabi niya muna ang katotohanang iyon, nakalagay sa isip na ito ay wala lang at lilipas din balang araw, ngunit hindi ito nawawala. 

 Araw-araw pa rin ang kanyang paggising sa gitna ng dilim, puso'y tumitibok nang mabilis. 

 Ano nga ba ang dahilan?
