Grace moved in with her long-time boyfriend, Nate, in the city after they graduated college. Although he thinks it's a waste of time, Grace works as a waitress at the local pub in town to make ends meet while she tries to find the perfect job. Grace see's a future with Nate but things aren't always perfect. When Grace's boss brings in, James, to perform live music at the pub, things somehow seem to all turn upside down, making Grace question everything... *Trigger Warnings: -Sexual Content -Emotional/Psychological Abuse -Mild Physical Abuse -Parent Loss The city isn't mentioned in the story but it is loosely based on Charlotte, NC. The music in the story, other than the ones written by James, are inspired by Boyce Avenue covers.
