For every person out there that was quiet, not because they chose to be so, but because they were choking in the smoke. Because their opinions were apparently not worth anything. Because they didn't know just how to say what they felt. For every person that is consumed by their own thoughts, the derision from the outside world only making it worse. For every soul that was drowning in remorse and anguish on restless nights. For every soul that says I love you in the dark and in the mirror because no one else does. For the floors we would pace while anxiety sunk its teeth into us. For the mirrors that we would break while shame echoed its laugh in our caged walls. For the hearts that would ache while loneliness was the only company. For every moment of pain and solitude in this world that feels too cruel for such young and frail minds.

A collection of poem's written about events, feelings, thoughts, and emotions. Like a diary to vent out a part of ourselves that no one will every know about; the poems are simply an attempt to capture the most unusual and abstract aspects of the human mind. From straight forward and relatable to the most bizarre and weird, jumping from one poem to the next with crazy intensity, I hope apart of you feels satisfied or even less alone. Just words that flow A river in my head It twists and turns And never stays the same The current is strong You can never go back Pen it down And remember The joy of the ride Through the rough bumpy tide That are the words In my mind.

A Strange Kind of Beautiful by -taraxacum-

Trapped in pages are words I've never spoken. An overwhelming happiness, grief, and love. A walking poem and the hidden poet. To admire from afar and to be loved silently. Surrender my sorrows and bleed on paper and since then I kept this story sacred. A reminder how I made it. A chapter where I stumbled, how crushed and crumbled but still survived. Only with a pen and a heart to mend. I lived.
