Before you roll your eyes and look away, hear me out.
I am desperate to learn about the Lord.
I'm not a perfect Christian who knows everything and wants to "change your ways" to make you a better person.
I'm not like that.
Trust me, I'm far from perfect.
Very, very far.
I want to learn more about my God, and I decided to make a devotional/Bible Study.
I'm not here to make you feel like a horrible person and act like a hypocrite. I'm not here to show how much better I am than you.
I'm here to learn about God.
And I'm sort of hoping, you readers will help me.
I'm not promising an incredible, life changing book. Im just being me and doing what I think the Lord wants me to do ❤️❤️

Letters to God (Compact Version)
I feel I should offer a disclaimer; this will not be a book of pretty words and flowing writing. It might even have an odd format with short stories, prayers, poems, journal entries, and autobiographical tendencies. There will be raw, unfiltered emotion because I have always been a very emotionally driven person, prone to oversharing. This isn't a tutorial or a teaching manual, or a guide to Christianity. It is my personal journey in discovering The Way. My ongoing path from religion to having a personal relationship with the Living God. The idea for Letters to God has been with me for years. At first, as a blog post, but that didn't appeal to me as much, for my heart has always leaned toward writing books. Then I tried sharing parts of it as short stories, but that didn't sit well with me either. Subconsciously, I've been working on this for years. This book is rated R. Please proceed with caution. This is the more raunchy version of the book. *** We stand in silence, as I sip my water, and he watches me do it. Finally, he breaks the silence. He closes my mouth, grinning at me, wicked intentions in his eyes. Not so nonchalant anymore, I see. "Um, I-I...I don't..." I stop talking, realising what a total idiot I sound like, while his grin broadens. In that second, I am grateful for my dark skin, as he can't see me blushing. "Tongue-tied?" My cheeks get hotter. "Shut the f*ck up." He actually laughs. "Don't worry, honey," he says, his hot breath brushing against my face, shocking me. When did he get this close? "One day," he whispers, now in my ear,"I will f*ck you." I realise that my eyes are closed and I open them. He's gone. I stand there frozen, in total shock. What the actual f*ck just happened? *** When all you know is disappointment, you become your own best friend. You isolate yourself from everyone else. You need no one; love is a weakness. That's the case with me. Then, Prince Charming rides in and changes everything. Except, he isn't a prince. He is light, but he holds darkness; he is joy, but he knows pain; he is beauty, but within him is imperfection and ugliness. He is just like me, but he is nothing like me.Concluída
How to Find Purpose and Peace: Why Am I Here?
Why am I here? What is my purpose? What is the meaning of life? Why am I alive? It seems that since the dawn of time we have been asking ourselves this very question. Kings and philosophers have puzzled and theorized, and paupers and plebeians toil under the sun wondering if there's more to life. Even today we seem to be frantically running here or there trying to get the latest scoop, wondering if someone has finally figured it out. People look high and low, and they try a number of things only to still feel unhappy and dissatisfied. In my own life, the only thing that has made me truly happy and given me peace for my soul is God. He has been the chief help in combating my anxiety and depression. For me, God has been the foundation that I've placed my life around and have built my identity. I write about how I've found purpose, peace and how you can too! Having faith in something that literally isn't there but is is tiring. Also, the world hates you and you have to fight against the one thing you can't escape, sin. Choosing to fight this battle puts a target on your mind and sometimes body, and it can make or break you. ... Seems useless, right? "I'm trying to do homework can you please go somewhere else" i said in a heavily annoyed tone. "See i would, but one i think you like me too much to actually want me to leave" he said before i cut him off "i don't" he laughed before continuing "this next part is really gonna suck then" he said pausing obviously waiting for a reaction out of me which i don't give him. My phone rings seeing zahirie's contact I don't answer but pressed declined, he calls two more times I declined each time Turning off my read receipts also. I search up a random video on Pinterest with a couple it looks like me but it's not "Enjoying my man's company," I post it turning my phone WiFi off closing my phone I placed it down Laying down i felt a rush of excitement . Getting up I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and get ready for bed I hum Alkaline: Thug loving before exiting the bathroom i smile dancing around. I jump at the figure on my bed i touch the light switch "JESUS!," I exclaimed seeing an angry zahirie sitting on my bed with my phone in his hand.
