There is a middle school guy named Marcus, he was new to the school. He had no friends, he didnt know the school, and most importantly he fell in love with someone who was way out of his league.
The Girls name is Hermine. Hermine had some friends but her friends said things about her and she was too shy to oppose them. Hermine's friends were the ones to make her depressed.

Elliot never had friends, he's always been bullied and his parents are both drunkards with a bad temper. All his life he's just dealt with the problems and toughed it out. The main character fell for a popular boy in their high school. For multiple months, the main character has been hiding themselves from this boy, Tal, because they've been scared of what Tal may think of them. After a while of waiting and hiding, Tal finally notices the main character and automatically falls in love with them; they had love at first sight. Slowly this major change affected the main character, their everyday life, and experiences they haven't had before. Their friends leave them and the main character is left with Tal and a few of his friends.
