Going back to before the events that unfolded in that horror house, The young Mayor Damien has his struggles but Mark was always there for him along with the Colonel. Then Mark married Celine and the friendship changed.
An Angel was also brought into Damien's life. Celine's younger sister Victoria. But when Celine and the Colonel ran off together, Mark went silent.
Out the the blue the couple received an invitation to a party at Markiplier manor for a poker night that would have a deadly ending.
