The Great Quake of 2022. "It all ended in that year." Japan destroyed by a series of earthquakes and tsunamis.

"Then the Great Quake of 2025 threw the whole of the Pacific Coast of the United States into the sea." Crippled by the Great Recession, strained by the heavy burden of an ever-expanding national deficit, the land of the free would soon cease to exist.

The People's Republic of China rose to primacy during the 2030s - the decade that the European Union dissolved as rising nationalism, populism, and xenophobia ripped the political and economic fabric of the confederation apart - leaving the continent to fall dangerously into another Dark Age.

This is the forbidding world maverick MotoGP rider Lleónart Blanc was born into. Sponsored by his corporate patron Takagawasan, the White Lion will deliver the first Grand Prix World Championship to the Federation of Catalan City-States in 2056. A victory meant to ignite an insurgence against the autocratic order of the Federation of North African States.

But all does not go according to plan ...

The Adventures of Morley and Boots: The crew of the Leapfrog travel randomly about the galaxy in search of unique lifeforms to trap & trade. Intra-galactic poaching is profitable, but risky - like when an Evil Intergalactic Empire accuses you of capturing their Goddess, and you don't even know which critter she is! End Game: In an alternate near-future Indochina, Imperial France still rules, much to the chagrin of the local Siamese. Ratana's brother is captain of a premiere league football team, and a hero to the Siamese - and when he is booted from the squad to make space for the son of a powerful nobleman, it sets off a chain of events that could result in the toppling of the Empire. Self-Assembly Required: Human civilization has been almost entirely destroyed by a catastrophic plague of nanites, but one city remains, hidden and protected by Hydra, a team of all-female nano/human hybrids. Is the arrival of a roguish, lone-wolf mercenary a sign that human civilization is recovering, or the event that could destroy the few remaining survivors? The Woman from Mars: The robotic crew of the Basilisk thought humans were gone, long gone. But when they are sucked back in space and time to Jupiter's moon Europa in 2552, they discover a Viking civilization with the technology to rebuild human civilization - assuming the woman from Mars can complete her mission. [Book 2 in the CODES series] || Roger, a cybernetic human with a second chance at life, must face the truths of every lie he's told or risk the possibility of losing it all... ** A year after the "Digital War," Roger had his second chance at life. It was owed to him, a forgotten promise made eighty years in the past by the founding fathers of the Province's prospering nations. He and the other "Codes" left abandoned within the silent computers of every living city would be brought back to life... And have their crimes forgiven and wiped from existence. Yet, finding a home in newly created bodies isn't easy for the new cyborg citizens. The Province may have reached its desired Utopian climate, but society itself was far from reach. So many refused to forget the pain every "Code" inflicted on their lives... Roger hadn't forgotten -- he chose to forget. But as those secret plans made before his original death return to the surface, Roger learns -- just as the Province did -- burying the past doesn't help heal old wounds. ** The gun fit so perfectly in my hands. It's metal, still warm from it's last fired bullet, brought back so many memories I'd learned to suppress. I didn't want to be the man standing in front of them, I wanted to grow and change. But let society remind me of my place... "Roger, don't!" Clara's tearful face came in front of me as she tried to take the gun from my hands. "Please, you don't have to do this!" I couldn't look at her. I didn't want to see the pain in her eyes. "That's the thing, Doll..." I tilted my head back and inhaled sharply. "I've got no other choice." The sound of a bullet firing never sounded so nice...
