Welcome to the planet Earth of the second age. After a world war from long ago that lasted seventy three years completely destroyed the world, human life had to start over again, no more cars or computers or anything was left after the war. New countries were formed, as well as new animal species including new types of humanoids.
Year 1412 of the second age.
Addyson was once a slave along with hundreds of other Foxshifters and was eventually orphaned at the age of seven. Two years later Addyson escaped when helping the remaining Foxshifters rebel against their masters and over threw them. Shortly after Addyson's escape she met another Foxshifter named Kamryn. Kamryn was already a skilled warrior at nine and taught Addyson everything she knew.
For the past nine years Addyson and Kamryn have been on the run from wolves wanting their heads. Never staying in one place for long. Kamryn fantasies about the day she'll meet her day while Addyson does the complete opposite, she dreads the day she meets hers for the fear that her past life will catch up to her and leave her heart broken. What happens when she meets her match and forces her to stay yet he wishes she was not there at all. What happens when he loves her yet doesn't. What happens when he cares yet doesn't. What happens when he finds out who she is? What happens when her Heart isn't broken but shattered
