Clarke Gray was heartbroken, naive and angry when she walked into the club 'Pandora's box.' She did not expect to have a heavy make out session with a midnight haired stranger with violet contacts, much less become a fugitive-to a strange world hidden in plain sight. Soon enough Clarke comes to learn that monsters exist, and not just in your head or under your bed. And these monsters are nothing like the ones they warned you about in bed time stories. No, these monsters were worse-they were human.

He was looking at me in a way that me feel like I was already naked. "Feel what?" I asked him, even though I knew exactly what he was talking about. The air between us was so thick, it was almost suffocating. Like we were made of two completely different ingredients that were begging to be mixed together. "This attraction between us, Lilac," he whispered out, placing his hands on either side of my head against the wall, trapping me from escaping him. Not that I wanted to.
