Darian Matherson is new to Keller, Wyoming. She's never had any trouble making friends, but this year, it seems particularly difficult - all the students are caught up in their cliche groups and no one is willing to let the new girl into their circle. So she decides to make her own group, inserting herself into the lives of several 'high school wallflowers'. Dealing with all the problems a high schooler goes through while trying to convince her new friends that she is as good as the ones they've known since kindergarten, Darian struggles to hold her head above the water AND get good grades at the same time. On top of it all, she has two very annoying best friends who've blatantly placed a bet on... Well, her virginity. But Darian is, if nothing else, stubborn - and she's determined to make this year the best yet, even if everyone seems out to ruin it.

Five Things
This story involves many things. Perhaps it's clichè and perhaps it's not. It's the story of Max Keller. The girl who was forced to move and transfer schools when she was fourteen only to be harassed by a boy with lots of freckle and lots of questions. Five to be exact. Five questions so aggravating and annoying that she decided to hate this boy forever. And ever. Now as a sixteen year old girl her hatred for the handsome menace has only grown and shows no signs of shrinking. This story involves a lot of drama, a lot of hate, and at one point she may or may not have had her underwear stolen. Granted, it's by a very attractive neighbor but it's annoying nonetheless.
