Evelyn Peters is suddenly forced to get a summer job when her mother decides that her "bad behavior" has gone too far. After landing a job at a local bookstore, thinking it's going to be fun times and easy going shifts, she finds out that her enemy since the 9th grade, Quinton Johns, will be working along side her. And boy, do things get ugly. WARNING: this story was started when i was 14 years old. i literally have no idea how i managed to write such a CRINGE story as if i had no brains at all, but it is what it is. i might, and i said MIGHT, continue writing it for pure enjoyment but i'm not sure when that would even be ive kinda given up on this book. anyway, enjoy at your own risk!

"Marek, don't do this. Keep your captainship. I'll tell the truth about what happened and we'll both be out of the deal." "But-" "I don't know what your doing, if you think this is going to win you attention or sympathy. Or maybe you are being a noble prat and doing as 'you should'. Plus, I don't mean anything to you. Never have, never will. So please, please, stop acting like I'm special. " "But you are." And then his voice cracked, and I cracked with it. ------------------------ She's sick of his arrogant ways, and the bragging. With her goal being to slap some sense into him, she makes a deal; they act like a couple in every sense of the word and the first one to fall in love? Loses. It's only when she realises he may not be such a terrible man after all that she doubts her ability to win. But what if the one thing she put on the line is the one thing she would die trying to protect? Will she allow a relationship to blossom under pressure from her past? **Disclaimer** The drawing in the cover isn't mine (but it was so pretty I used it anyway). If you know who it belongs to, tell me and I can give them the rightful credit. **Implication of sex and some minor bad language. Do not read unless mature enough.**
