"Jane slowly walked down the hall, the wind hissing in her ears. Her footsteps echoed down the empty rooms, the old building seeming to shake with each step. Then she heard it. It was quiet at first, then it became louder as she neared an open door. She set her hand on the door and peeked in and froze in fear of what she saw. There, crouched in a corner, was what looked like a man, a bloody arm in his hands. She quickly moved as the man turned his head quickly, yellow eyes glowing in the dark. Jane sprinted as fast as she could, and heard the creature coming after her. She threw and knocked over as much as possible, until she reached the stairs. She didn't even hesitate to jump over the railings. She landed and stopped to catch her breath. By the sound of it, the creature wasn't following her anymore. She sighed and turned back towards the door. The hand grabbed her throat, lifting her off the ground. Jane clawed as the creature came out of the shadows, blood dripping from sharp, jagged, teeth protruding from its mouth. Saliva dripped from the creatures lip, dripping into its frilled neck piece of its clothes.
'You're not getting away that easily...' It hissed as it smiled, revealing rows of the jagged teeth. Jane gasped for air as the creatures grip tightened. Soon, her vision faded to black... and she passed out."

Man kind, invincible and scared of nothing. We were the superior race, and we revelled in it.
We all thought we were the ones at the top of the food chain, completely untouchable.
However it was like I said, we 'thought' we were.
In the darkness lurks a creature like no other, that prays upon us. Hunting us!
Waiting for just the right moment to strike, to knock us off of our high pedestal and back onto the ground.
I know this because I have seen this beast. Been face to face with it, battled toe to toe with this creature, fighting for what was left of my life, and I was losing!

"Watch out!" I scream in alert, as a hard thudding sound pierced our ears as something slammed into our side of the car, sending a sensation of dizziness as the car spun of of control.
The screeching tires dragged along the floor, with the faint stench of the irony liquid dripping from my head as it all grew still...
