Stolen Hearts

I looked up at him, staring into his green orbs that I had grown to love. "You know, you're the best thing that's ever happened to me, right?" I questioned him with a small smile on my face. His pink plump lips curved into a smile.

"Yeah," he whispered back.

His eyes flickered down to my lips and before I knew it, he was leaning down towards me. I looked at his lips - the lips I had been longing to be against mine for so long. I tilted my face up so that my lips could meet his beautiful ones. Our lips brushed together and I could already feel the butterflies in my stomach. He gently pressed his soft lips onto mine, and I felt my knees go weak. I kissed him back, moving my lips with his. I put my arms around his neck, and he moved his around my waist. We both pulled each other closer, not being able to get enough.

We soon had to pull back to get some air. His eyes held mine captive, as we just stood there, holding each other, forgetting about our dreadful pasts and our problems. And we just stood there, staring into each others eyes, without realizing that we were both falling.
