This is a short story to make you appreciate what you have now. Those things that you appreciate might not be there forever, so love what you have now. October 8 2013 I hear the birds chirping outside the car as we arrive to my grandparents house. I think it's gonna be so boring staying here for a whole month. Oh we'll. My mom drops me off and I just stop and stare at my grand parents house. It's a tiny house. The door opens and it's my grandma, she says "hi hi come in my dear". I walked in. My grandpa says "hello Daniel", I said hi back. I'm 11 years old, 3 months till I'm 12. This story is based on a dream I had.

Peyton had learned that choices could change little or change everything. But can Peyton make the choices that lead to love, family, and happiness? Excerpt: I'm still sitting there when I see the big guy walk past the house. He's running his eyes over it and stops mid-movement when he sees me. But before I can decide to go ask him if he's lost he starts walking again. Then I do stand as I see him head up the Drive to Uncle Simon's house. I hurry out and around the gate. It couldn't be. The huge guy who looked like he hadn't shaved in a month or two, couldn't be Seth. He knocked. Just as the door opened I called. "Seth?" The big guy turned and smiled at me. There in that face was his smile. I just stared as he was clasped in arms and pulled inside. I hurry up and inside with them. I saw one of Seth's brothers calling next door. In minutes the house was full of my family. "What did you do take the last month to walk here? You smell like it?" Was the first thing dad asked. A deep rolling voice came from Seth as he chuckled and then talked. "Yes. I've been cooped up in trucks and planes for nearly two months solid, I wanted out, and no people. But if I can get two seconds I'll go and shower." He was let go. I just stared after him. He might not have grown taller but he was as big as Uncle Simon now.
