There is an art to assassination.
One that cannot be taught overnight. It takes time as well as talent. The average person, in his mundane job could not comprehend the level of accuracy it takes for an assassin to complete his job. If an assassin, in the true fashion was to hear the description of an 'assassin' from the mouth of a normal, rule-abiding citizen, they would huff in indignation. Perhaps even roll their eyes at the theatrical description of their job role, as if it was something to admire.
It truly wasn't. Yet it was a job that needed to be done; and so the art behind the perfect murder grew into more than just a myth. More than just a legend.
It became fact...and then it was taught. Taught to the next generation of children. Tools. Machines. Whatever they were, it would never be what they would end up being.
The academy had made sure of that.
