"All it takes is one race.."

Freshman Mia is just your average girl. Or so she tries to convince herself. Running from her past she ends up in small town Tree Hill looking for a fresh start, with her best friend by her side. What she doesn't expect though is to be pulled into the same thing she was trying to leave behind.

Jared is anything but average. He's the town's badboy, the most popular guy in college and the king of the racing scene in Tree Hill. So when the new girl threatens his title it brings on a rivalry like nothing the town's ever seen before. But despite their hate they keep finding themselves crashing into each other.

There's only a thin line between hate and love, and these two will do all they can to keep from crossing it.

He looked at me directly in the eyes before answering, "You." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Avery is beautiful, carefree and outspoken. Well, she used to be. She used to thrive on adrenaline and the only way she could fulfil that need was by riding her motorcycle. Avery hasn't exactly lived the best life. With a violent ex-boyfriend, her father deserting them at a young age and her mum constantly high alongside her new husband, Avery and her sister Alena have grown up in a messy and violent environment. Determined to give her sister a proper upbringing, they escape to a new town and start a new life together, giving up on everything she loved in the process. COMPLETED Burton High is not a white-collared, run of the mill school. We've got the art kids, we've got the weird goths that hang around one particular place as though they're a pack of wild animals. We've got the druggies and the cheerleaders and the jocks. I guess I would consider myself a jock; I definitely would not consider myself a cheerleader. Let me rephrase; I am a jock. I may have boobs and long, blonde hair that my mom begs me to curl, but I would rather slap my toes into a door frame on repeat than resemble a young lady at all. So yes; I am one hundred percent a jock. ~~~ Paige Miller is determined to earn her spot at one of the best hockey programs in North America. But her boyfriend is counting on that exact same spot. After a fight that leaves Paige wondering if there's anything left to save with her boyfriend, she flies 2000 miles with her best friend Simon to see the school that's pretty much willing to do anything to get her on their team. In this steamy love story, sparks fly when they aren't supposed to, relationships are broken, and hearts are left torn.
