Everyone knows about Harry James Potter, the Boy who Lived. But what if he had a sister, who no one even bothers to mention, just because she doesn't have a lightning bolt scar?
Emma Lily Potter HATES her brother. Stupid Harry with his stupid scar and stupid broomstick. She's convinced that she's a hundred times better than he is. She's a natural at Quidditch, excellent at Potions and Transfiguration, and is Slytherin's star student. So why is her brother still getting all the attention for something he doesn't even remember he did?
Harry James Potter doesn't want this attention. Not when his sister hates him for it. He'd do anything to get out of the spotlight and push his sister into it. But reality is reality, and he's the one with the scar, not Emma. To be honest, Emma would be an awesome Girl who Lived. Compared to her, Harry was nothing. So what if he could catch a Snitch? So could she. He wasn't particularly good at anything else, and Snape hates him amd makes his life at Hogwarts miserable.
One wrong thing said, and the twins' relationship shatters. They go their separate ways, and when I say separate, I mean separate. But evil lurks at Hogwarts, inside them and in their pasts. Will they face it together, or will they succumb to evil because they aren't strong enough without each other?

*warning* It's a bit slow at first but it will get interesting soon. What if Harry had a twin sister but didn't know? What if his twin was saved only because of him? In this story this is exactly what happens. They meet on the train to Hogwarts in their first year and become best friends. They always felt that they had some connection but didn't know what that connection meant. Harry is always protective of her and also gets a bit jealous when she speaks to other guys. She was sent away when the Order of the Phoenix found out Harry and their parents were at risk. For years she had been living in America attending Ilvermorny, until she was nearly discovered by a death eater. Now she lives with family friends in France she is attending Beauxbatons for her fifth year. She know about Harry and often checks in on him with Dumbledore as her messenger. Harry of course knows nothing about her, and that's how it needs to stay, even the knowledge of Belles existence places her in unthinkable danger. She remains the not so perfect Potter. Beauxbatons is extremely hard to fit in when you're the only girl who has no Veela in her. But what she can do is Legilimency, where she is able to read any mind she comes across if she wishes and she inherited her father's animagus ability. Harry may look remarkably like his father and has his mothers eyes, but Belle is an exact replica of Lily Evans, down to every last freckle. But when they travel to Hogwarts for the Triwizard tournament, will she finally get to see her younger brother for the first time since that night.Complete
