Alleah and Andrew Smith were born healthy babies to their overjoyed parents, but with a quirk. Both twins were born with powers and both are targeted by a very greedy man named Zemlicka, who plans to kidnap them both to use them for his benefit. When Zemlicka only succeeds to kidnap Andrew, their father sends Alleah to an adoption center as a last hope to protect his beloved daughter from Zemlicka.
Now sixteen years later, Alleah is clueless to the fact that she has a twin as she lives the normal life of a teenage girl. However, her camouflage doesn't last forever and soon she discovers her true identity. Will Alleah be able to protect her family from the greedy ways of Zemlicka, or will both twins be controlled by Zemlicka forever?

When they realized what had happened, the twins' parents immediately put them up for adoption, so neither one knew of the other. 12 years later Skylar is constantly failing all her classes, and Jake is getting bullied because he is so much weaker than other kids. But then Skylar's adoptive family decides to move across the country to find a new school for their daughter, which happens to be the school Jake goes to. They meet completely by accident. How do I explain this? My mother is a mortal, my dad and his family are wizards, but he gave up his powers to be with our mom and now there are four of us wizards in training, there's my older brother Justin, my twin sister Alex, myself Farrah and my little brother Max. Its great being the older sister to the famous Harry Potter. Don't get me wrong I love my brother I really do I just wish he could have a normal life rather than constantly getting in trouble and danger. My name is Aurora Nova Potter although I prefer Rory.
