He and I; we were two different souls. But aren't we all?

His touch, his voice, his award winning smile.

All the things I, hated.

Hated with a passion.

His touch tingles on my bare skin making me feel vulnerable. Helpless. Useless.

I've never been useless, I've always helped out anyway I can. But him, he makes me freeze at any contact.

And I mean, any.

When he puts my hair behind my ear, the soft kisses on my cheek, the way he wraps his hand around mine, the way our fingers lace together perfectly into a heavenly bliss.

I. Hated. It.

"That's great, just a little closer now," The photographer instruct, motioning with his hands for the bride to step in a bit closer to her husband. She hesitate for a moment, a flicker of uncertainty in her eyes, but then takes a small step forward, closing the distance between her and her husband. The photographer raises his camera, peering through the viewfinder to frame the shot. The groom looking at her, a mix of anticipation and nervousness on his face. Pressing the button to focus, the sound of the camera's autofocus filling the air. "Alright, big smiles everyone!" photographer calls out, his finger hovering over the shutter release. The groom immediately flashes a wide grin, his eyes crinkling at the corners. But the bride, she seems frozen, her smile forced and her eyes darting away from the camera. A glimmer of something else in her eyes. Perhaps it's acceptance, or maybe just resignation. Just as the photo was gonna be taken, the groom turns his head slightly towards her. His smile softens, and for a brief moment, there's a tender look in his eyes as he glances at her. It's a fleeting expression, but it's enough to capture the essence of the moment. Pressing the shutter, the flash illuminating their faces as the camera captures the image. The sound of the shutter echoes in the room. As the flash subsides, lowering the camera and offering them both a thumbs-up. "Perfect," the photographer says, his voice brimming with confidence.

My feet stopped in the corridor suddenly when those brown dark eyes met mine. I blinked my eyes rapidly and looked away. Anywhere and everywhere but him. He wasn't moving and I didn't make any attempt as well. I was frozen at my place as if that way he wouldn't be able to see me. How stupid of me! I gulp hard. It was awkward. It was as if the time was stuck the same. I knew he was stubborn and he would love to make this situation even more complicated. He was tasting me. But I am not someone to stay still and watch. If he is daring me then I should accept it. Right? I gave a mental nod and look at him finally. As expected, he didn't budge from his position nor did he leave his gaze from me. It was cold, it was filled with anger, it gave away his displeasure but I am not bothered. That anger of him has always acted against him. It was his biggest weakness yet he refused to leave it. Fine, I don't mind. He can keep his ego and I'll wear my attitude proudly. I am no less than him. His dark orbs were cutting through me but I had decided to act the same way as him. He doesn't care so I won't too. If he is going to hold his ego then I will too. If he is acting rude then I'll be ruder. If he fights then I'll be fighting back with double force. I will do anything but seat quiet and see him do whatever he wants to. I took a deep breath and put on my confident smirk as I walked forward while pulling my whole strength. I don't care! I repeated in my head. One step after the other and I was already closer to him. I pressed a smile further when he was near. He looked pissed but as I said, I would ignore him and I did. A few more steps and I was out of his view or he was out of my view. I let out a deep breath but celebrated my victory in my head. A smile formed on my lips as I felt relieved with myself. I was fine after all and I know I will be fine later too.

You are angry I know, I know I was wrong, I did wrong, if you are mad then hit me, slap me, punch me, hurt me physically, I would bear that, but don't go away from me, it's hurting me internally. " I parted my lips with an exhale, why is he doing this? No one ever said that to me. Not even my so-called fiance. He showed me my mistakes when I was mad but look at this man. " Do you want me to beg?? " I stepped back when his knees touched the ground " I am on my knees " He held both of his ears with between his thumb and index finger of both of his hands. " I am begging you, please " I kept on staring at him and tears gathered in my eyes. He doesn't need to do such things for me, he shouldn't care, he shouldn't give a shit if I am angry. Because even if he gained my forgiveness, it doesn't mean anything , I can't go back to him , why should I? " Why are you staring at me, please say something , Anshika??
