My face Softens as I take in the sight In front of me. Crouching down I see the women peeking up at me with big blue frightened eyes. Her eyes Flicker between me and the doll in my hand. I slowly reach out the doll handing it to her, she flinches back her eyes squeezing shut in fear. I look back to my brothers to see them looking just as shocked. I turn my gaze back to the girl speaking to her in a soft voice as to not scare her. "It's okay sweetheart, we're not gonna hurt you" i reassured her. Before I can blink she is up and running for the door. --- Baby A seventeen year old women who has never seen the outside world. She was raised in a basement by her kidnapper. Shadow could easily take all her problems away, but Melody refuses to take the easy way out. That is, until she just couldn't take it anymore, she takes Shadow's offer and soon her life got better. Her bullies started disappearing, showing up dead in the woods. Their bodies badly mutilated, almost unrecognizable. Life at school started getting better, she finally had human friends and even a boyfriend. Her "father" was found dead at her house. The torture had finally ended. Unfortunately this story doesn't have a happy ending, after all karma always strikes back.

Her breathe was ragged, eyes shut for a split second before being born again and filling her body with a big scoop of that cold morning air. She starred hard at the morning sun as it started to peak its way over the horizon. All of her built up emotions start to find their way to her watery eyes and pour down her cheeks. Smiling as she cried the last thing that girl noticed was the wonderful white snow falling on that not so beautiful Christmas morning. He is a drunk, he cant let go of the pass or control his anger. She just wants to protect her child and live a happy life. She just wanted to help but now she needs someone to help. He just wants to be loved. Why does life never go his way?
