This is a short-story about a young girl stuck in a prison she calls, her mind.

My face Softens as I take in the sight In front of me. Crouching down I see the women peeking up at me with big blue frightened eyes. Her eyes Flicker between me and the doll in my hand. I slowly reach out the doll handing it to her, she flinches back her eyes squeezing shut in fear. I look back to my brothers to see them looking just as shocked. I turn my gaze back to the girl speaking to her in a soft voice as to not scare her. "It's okay sweetheart, we're not gonna hurt you" i reassured her. The Forgotten Tragedy
Harsh and raspy; His voice bombed with power as he clenched his fists in rage. The young girl stumbled over her bare feet, her heart about to explode out of her chest. Her breathe was ragged, eyes shut for a split second before being born again and filling her body with a big scoop of that cold morning air. She starred hard at the morning sun as it started to peak its way over the horizon. All of her built up emotions start to find their way to her watery eyes and pour down her cheeks. Smiling as she cried the last thing that girl noticed was the wonderful white snow falling on that not so beautiful Christmas morning. He is a drunk, he cant let go of the pass or control his anger. She just wants to protect her child and live a happy life. She just wanted to help but now she needs someone to help. He just wants to be loved. Why does life never go his way? Before I begin, I just want to say that this story does include some mature themes. I will also give out a warning a chapter prior to these scenes. Getting that out of the way, let's go onto the story description... *This book contains explicit content* *EXTRACT FROM THE BOOK* I stared at him, cooking and whistling, something that I could not do, or should I say, wasn't bothered to do. I decided to move away and to try and find an exit but I didn't even take one step back when I heard his voice. "Princess? Is that you?" I saw him raise his head before shooting his eyes onto me. The sudden gaze caused to heart to race while it froze my body as if I have turned into ice. I felt the fear engulf my body, eating me inside out. "You aren't scared of me... Are you?" he asked me, I sensed the envy in his voice. That mixed with his harsh tone caused a wave of goosebumps to course through my body. I wanted to begin by asking him where was I? Why was I here? Why was he here... I wanted to ask him, but I couldn't, the fear was just all too much for me. "Come on... Speak to me... Ask me..." he began. "Ask me 'why am I here' and all of that crap... Entertain me with your fear." I saw him slowly gripping a knife that was on the countertop, with his eyes still on mine. The sides of his mouth slowly began tilting upwards. All the bitterness and the cold, it was all so visible in his eyes. I looked at him in horror, noticing him as he took his first steps towards me. "Talk to me... Because this might be the only time you will ever be able to talk, " he said this sentence in such a calm tone, it caused me once again to shiver with goosebumps. "Shit, shit! Why did you stab me!?" I exclaim, laying on the floor with my hand grasping my side, not really putting thought into what I'm saying anymore. "Well what did you think I came here to do!?" He still has his knife out, pointed out towards me. I grab the closest object and hold it out in front of me, this just so happens to be a can of hairspray. "No, you stay back there, I don't want you doing any more damage than you've already done." He falters for a second and stares at the can of hairspray before looking back at me, "I am a murderer, this is my job...you know what this is just getting annoying." - An 18yr old serial killer under the name of "Jeff The Killer" has been tormenting a small town in southern Mississippi for around a month now. He didn't know why he decided to target this town, he just needed to blow off some steam. He didn't want to be controlled anymore, he needed something different. When he meets (Y/n), and fails to kill him, will he actually find someone that understands him? (Y/n), also 18yrs old, is stuck in a house with an emotionally and physically abusive step sister, an avoidant step brother, a Dad who seemed to care more about his work and social status then his son, and a distant step mother. On the outside he looks perfect, he seems to have everything handed to him. On the inside though, however much he may think he's a saint, it's all a ruse to hide his homicidal thoughts. He prays for something new, something that will save him from the drone of life. However the way that prayer is answered might not be what he intended, but what he needs.
