Grace King never really believed in the supernatural. Her grandmother used to tell her about how vampires, werewolves, and witches were truly real but Grace never believed it. Now when the Salvatore's move to town; Grace notices things changing. Her best friend, Elena, starts dating Stefan, the youngest Salvatore; her other best friend Bonnie acting differently. After being attacked Damon Salvatore, who she didn't know attacked her, things start changing for Grace, she hears small whispers as if voices in her head. She starts sensing when her friends were in danger or close to death. She starts being able to tell who is a human and who is different from them. As if she can just touch them and be able to tell. That's when she becomes more sucked into the supernatural world.
