And she could hear it clear as day- embarrassment. She frowned, ever so slightly. He could not see. She hushed him gently, at last moving her hands from his bare skin to turn her back to him. She fumbled for a moment through various bottles and cloths before turning back to him. And after that, there was silence again as she began to clean his wounds; Focusing on the fresh ones, before - much to his surprise, although he still said nothing - gently cleaning some of the older ones. She knew his discomfort, both physically and emotionally, so at last she spoke,
"Your scars, Bruce, they tell a story. You are a brave man. I admire you."
