After watching her family slaughtered, Alessandra and her friends are set to avenge their families. They have trained years and have become one of the most feared groups out there. Highly skilled and deadly than most. It is probably due to the fact that they are vampires and Alessandra is a direct bloodline of their vampire and queen to the throne with her family now gone. 

Even with the passing years and endless hunts to find their family's' killers, they came up empty. They found word that a competition was being held to find better protection for a prince who had someone out for his head for an unknown reason. At first it only seemed tempting but when they found out that the king might now who enacted such a terrible act on their home, they could not pass the opportunity. 

Upon meeting the prince, there is an immediate chemistry between him and Alessandra but for her own safety she has changed her name and has not told of her being a vampire. 

Will the prince find out who she really is? And if so can he let his feelings grow? Does the king know who killed their family? And if so will they be able to avenge them?
