I am going to fail at this challenge, I think. It's not the writing- it's the characters. But I'm not ready to give them up yet, so here we are. Of course, this is a bit of an alternate universe, because screw Edmund Greene. She's not ending up with him in the canon story anymore.

Dessie (deh-ZEE) and Jazz both have their own problems. Jazz is expecting a new baby and has to deal with a complete idiot messing with her kingdom (no, not her husband) and Dessie's boyfriend, Edmund Greene, is kind of a walking disaster if he tries hard enough. That sounds superficial, doesn't it? Well, I may have forgotten to mention- Edmund Greene is part of the Society- the sworn enemies of the Time Police, where Dessie and Jazz (used to) work. (Meaning that Dessie can do EVERYTHING Jazz can as a dhampyr- meaning they're basically half-human TARDISes and lightning rods) Except that's not what I'm covering in this.

And Blake gets chased mercilessly by fangirls. Yup.

*I lied about the better cover. Just enjoy what we have about a sisterly bond over romance. No, I don't own it.*
