Reuben was overweight in middle school, but went to a fat camp and boarding school for two years. Reuben was bullied and teased most of his life, because of his weight. He finally made the decision go to a fat camp. When he lost all his weight, he is like a new different person, people treat him differently and he looks differently too. He is little more sociable now since he is more confident. So when he goes to high school he is really scared, because he finds out that Carson, the main guy who used to torment him is Mr. Popular and his in mostly all his classes. Reuben tries to avoid him as much as possible, but it seems Mr.Popular takes a liking to him. So basically, Mr.Popular doesn't think about the kid he used to torment, but Reuben will always remember the guy who made him want kill himself at some point in his life.

Always there is a easy and hard. A better and a worse. Running is easy. Running from the person you work for ? Without a doubt hard. I guess I'll just have to say the truth. Even if I have to say it to myself. I love you boss-even if you don't . I understand why. I hurt you for the better. The worse? You hate me. But I should have know that was the least of our problems.

"Why haven't you killed me yet?" I asked the gorgeous hunter standing in front of me as I had my hands tied to a wall. "Trust me I'm tempted, but you know something that I don't," he said grabbing a sliver knife from a table. "But you won't hurt me you would've done it already if you wanted to," I smirked. I shouldn't be doing this but he's my mate he couldn't hurt me even if he tried.

I was confident that I would tear the wrapper off. Dad usually does it for me but he wasn't here right now. My first attempt was poor... I tried to open it up again but failed miserably. I was getting very anxious and annoyed. I put my index finger and thumb on both sides of the pop tart wraper like dad does, and pinched it attempting for it to unwrap. But when I looked at it - there was no differace. My skin started crawling and I was getting very hot with anxiety , I was so frustrated and mad that I picked up the pop tart and threw it across the room getting a loud thump in response. "Ugggggghhhhh" I yelled at nothing in particular with tears rolling down my face which blurd my vision. I slid down on the counter still screaming in annoyance. My heart hurt so much , my head was pounding ,my body felt hot. It was like I was fighting with the air around me. I was hurting with no pain.

He threw me against the lockers. I thought for sure he was going to hit me. I waited for the immense impact of his fist, but it never came. Instead he softly bit my ear. "I want you, bad." When the person whose bullied you all through high school starts to act differently around you. Things start building quickly, especially when his brother is your best friend.
