when spencer and their best friend bry fly thousands of miles from ireland over the north atlantic ocean to begin their music studies in america, spencer becomes entranced by the mysterious boy with the piercing blue eyes who sat a few rows down from them on their first day. as sealed fate possesses them, the two become close through the unlikeliest of circumstances, and idyllic life conveys the impression to be falling into place.

though, there is far, far more than what resides upon the surface - in the case of both spencer and the boy - and together, they gradually unearth these buried secrets; merciless of how painful they may be to do so, on both parts...
