A collection of true tales from a girl who is completely human. Samantha is a sixteen year old girl who has never been treated like an ordinary person. Being constantly made a target for amusement, a plaything, and treated more like a pet than a girl, she wants nothing more to break free from the label that others have created and forced upon her: a "doll." However, despite disowning the label herself, others still continue to treat her as if she is not human. She begins to realise that she must do something for them to see her as one. But what? Will they even listen? "A doll has her secrets and observes things that others don't even notice. A doll has her own stories to tell. In the end, maybe you'll view me as a monster more than a doll. You may possibly even see me as human, because that is what I am." (Warning: this story will contain numerous graphic, abusive, sexual and other topics of a mature nature. Please do not read this if you are sensitive to things of this nature.) [Photo does not belong to me, all rights towards the owner]

Sam is your typical 17-year-old high school bully. He has a group of friends who bullies for a living and is in a relationship with the hottest girl in school. One day, he met a strange boy named "Aaron", an 11th grader who wears enormous glasses and brings big books wherever he went. Plus, he shivers in fear (literally) when he is within Sam's perimeters that makes him the best client in Sam's bullying business. However, not all things are what they always seem as Sam unravels something intriguing about Aaron and about himself. This book is a moving up requirement and as a part of our Production Thesis. I'm from the Arts department of a public junior high school in the Philippines and just publishing and launching this book brought me not only joy but also pride because this is my first ever novelette (or maybe novel considering it's length)!
