[This story takes place 8 months after season 4] Mike has always been in denial about his feelings towards Will. He had pushed him away multiple times because of this denial but now Will and his family is back in Hawkins. Will has been a wreck this past eight months of being back in Hawkins. He couldn't help but feel anxious about the situation at hand. He could feel Vecna regenerating and he was afraid, terrified. He was trying to play it off cool but he just couldn't.
