In the year 2054, a man with a vision tries to open up a portal in space that would let people travel anywhere on earth. He planned to do this with what he called a core, it had high levels of exotic matter within it. When the core exploded it killed everyone working on the project except the lead scientist, she later discovered she had powers, but that was 20 years ago and now she has a 14-year-old boy.
