Cora never played a sport in her life but one day she has a dream that she is the best varsity player in the school and goes to state with her team. Suddenly she wakes up and shakes her head and asks herself what was that. one day she moves to L.A and starts getting bullied because she is short and how she looks. she has trouble making friends and when she tells people she wants to play volleyball they all just laugh and tell her she'll NEVER make THE CUT or so they thought. during the bullying a new student comes to the school and Cora hits a turning point in her life.
