Darkeye, a Nightwing of prophet powers, has a vision of a great outbreak of war in Pyrrhia. He has seen 10 young dragons that would come and save Pyrrhia from reliving the Great War, where all the tribes fought in a huge war- known as the War of The Sandwing Succession- but he is reluctant to tell of this vision. Darkeye tries to keep the prophecy secret from his son, Nightstalker, because he fears for his life after seeing him in his vision.
