The Day We Left Earth
If we stayed there any longer, we would have died. Earth was no longer our home, but instead a barren waste land from which we had to escape. Its calm blue oceans were replaced by big empty pits, and the green grass which used to cover our planet has now died, leaving all ground we tread on brown. The sun was getting too close to earth. It was going to explode soon, meaning we would have to leave. Either that, or die on what we called home. Not everyone left, not everyone was saved, but most of us are here in our new home. The world was deemed unliveable in 2025. Humans were moved to space stations in order to survive, looking for a new planet to call home. The year is now 2050, and we still have not found a planet. I was born on this ship but my parents were alive when Earth 'died.' I've been chosen to journey to the planet of Alalea in hopes of finally finding somewhere to live. I never thought I would call this place home until I met him. (Based on the world of avatar. This story and characters are completely original and my own!)

In the last few centuries, humans have pushed themselves almost to the brink of extinction with wars, famine, and disease. But we have managed to survive and persevere despite everything that has happened. The year 2147 was a year of hope for us, with the arrival of the Golik, an alien race, who were kind and wanted nothing more than to help us. Alongside the Golik, we had five years of peace and prosperity with them, both races gaining knowledge from the other and building to create a wonderful relationship with the other. After five years of peace and prosperity, then the peace ran out and the invasion began. Being one of the people that left earth during the reset was not on: Rose, John's, or Lily's list. They all now have to learn what it means to grow up as Rose takes charge of them while floating around in space. Learning lessons in how deceptions can harm others, dealing with new feelings of love, and what it means to be family. Surviving when in the face of peril, whether it be boredom or diseases that kill; In conjunction with crashing into a new planet having to learn how to live and grow crops. Rose, John, and Lily fall into adventures which leads them straight into danger after Rose lets her feelings get in the way when it comes to choosing which stranger to follow back to the good planet. Befalling onto the bad planet instead. They must use all the skills they learned to get themselves off and to the good planet where they were supposed to be. Will they be able to survive? What will happen when they end up in unknown places? How will they cope with the responsibility which could reduce their chances of staying alive long enough to be where they truly belong?
