Margo watched Evelyn for no more than a few seconds, watching her thrash in her grandmother's arms like a screaming child. She got up, feeling a little dazed but still conscious of the swelling on her back. Lila tried to talk to her, but Margo just shoved past her, unable to speak or think clearly.
