16-year-old Jess Greenland grew up watching lots of movies, but not just any movies. Movies filled with first dates at the drive-in and holding hands by the lockers. She watched movies where teens fell in love and stayed in love. Movies where nothing ever went wrong and everyone lived happily ever after. Jess knew these were movies but still somewhere in her mind she never let go of the idea of the perfect boyfriend and the perfect teen love until she met Brian and quickly Jess realized boys are nothing like movies at all.
