*Short Story* Beauty and the beast with a twist was transformed from the original Beauty and the Beast. The story is about modern-day wartime, where a girl had to transform into someone else to save her father and she falls in love with her commanding officer. My story is similar to the original because it still follows the original storyline but it has an unexpected twist. In both stories, the main character puts her life on the line to save her father. The difference between the stories is the different setting and the transformed story is based on the armed forces. The use of the third person and first person narrative is used throughout the transformed story. Imaginary, simile, metaphors and adjectives are found throughout the story. For example, the use of imaginary helps the reader to picture what is happening during the story. The moral of the story is we risk our lives to save the people we love. Prepare to be immersed in the action-filled drama of Beauty and the Beast. I hope you enjoy this as much as I enjoyed writing it.

Until one day his brother killed him in cold blood and locked Victoria up in a cell. When she turned 18 she was offered a deal. Each year Alancia holds a fighting tournament for public display. The biggest and the baddest fight in this tournament and barely make it out alive. She has to fight in this tournament and if she won she had her freedom back. If she lost she would loose her freedom once again. Victoria knows she can't pass up this opportunity up.
