Katatsuki Yuri is a Slave for the Galra. She was abducted from Earth and for three years she has been pleasing the greedy and evil aliens, hoping to find a way out of her hell hole. 

When the Blade of Marmora is on one of their missions they find Yuri tied to a post covered in blood and bruises from disobeying an order. Keith ends up saving her, but at a hefty price.
