The road to hell

Taking place in a planet much similar to own, called Reston, Melissa Detmer, returns home to the small town of Lapsville, after being away for almost ten years. Not much has changed since, but she's not back for a social visit. She meets with her childhood best friend, Tristan Grave, to discuss something she needs help with. Tristan, being the third richest man on Reston, agrees, and the two set out to recover an ancient artifact known only as "The Staff."

Author's notes: I really enjoyed writing this story, and I had multiple characters based off of myself and my friends. The story itself had no real inspiration, it just popped in my head one night. My friend, Jeremiah Grossi, was the inspiration for Jerald and I based Tristan off of myself. Melissa, Paul, Ellen, Brad. Jacob, and Jasper had no inspiration. All supporting characters also had no inspiration. I was originally going to have a character based on my friend, Ryan Austin, but I couldn't fit his character in. There WILL NOT be a sequel, I do not want to create a book series, at the moment, if I ever do then there still won't be a sequel, to me the story is over, the characters that lived and died had their adventure and there wasn't anymore.
