You have to learn to accept the tragedies in life. And how do you go from there? Gemma isn't popular. She isn't nice. Quite frankly, she's too saractic for more than half the male population. Matthew Brooks is the complete opposite—well, was. It appears his was another teen suicide from being cracked under pressure. Gemma, however, knows this boy well enough to know something is up. So what do you do when you're faced with conflicting feelings having to do with the only boy you ever kissed? Well, you meddle with his supposed suicide, of course! Er—probably not one Gemma's brightest decisions. Copyright ©2014 cover by zinszerlina

[PLEASE READ REVISED VERSION INSTEAD (BLACK HOLES ALL THE WAY DOWN)] "You know, there are two reasons why people don't talk about things; either it means nothing to them or it means everything." It's a year after Connor Mathews committed suicide, leaving his best friend Danielle lost and confused. The two shared everything since they were kids, so where were the signs? Why did Connor believe the world would be better off without him? Danielle is familiar with loss, but this news hits her like a bullet. Connor and Danielle were partners in crime. But with Connor gone, Danielle is just a lonely outsider with a slight temper and a high probability to self-destruct. After a few unlikely encounters that create a few unlikely friendships, Danielle begins to wonder if maybe not all surprises are bad. But without the answers she needs to erase the ambiguity surrounding Connor's death, how will she maintain a healthy life? Is it possible to live happily even in the face of everlasting unanswerable questions?
