Heroes do not have to save the world on their lunch break, kiss babies, and bed incredible women. Real heroes can arise entirely by accident, by determination, or by sheer force of will.
Life will bring you horrors beyond imagination and happiness beyond your comprehension. What you do with those fleeting moments that change not only your history but the history of those around you is a choice. 

Celebration city is a land of choices. A world where heroes and villains can be born with power or develop it. It is a land filled with corruption and hope. A world just like ours but a little more super and supernatural. 

This is a story about a man. A crippled man with a broken home. He lost everything but got up dusted himself off and used what gifts he did have to make himself stronger. Charlie is a man fueled by failure, with a daughter to protect and vengeance to be satisfied. He is not a hero by goal, but a hero by accident, he is going to rid the world of a monster not in pursuit of fame, fortune, or everything that is good in right, but because it suits him. Someone has to pay for Bellina's death and the loss of Meg's innocence. He is a father a tirade, and not even death will stand in his way.

No, so their identities are secret. So what if the hero and villain were best friends? What if they were roommates? What if they were falling for each other? And what happens when they find out? Now, I assume you know all of these questions will be answered in this book. But hold on. It's going to take a while. You're in for a bumpy ride.
