The nether realm, a horrendous and safe haven for monsters of all species to reside and live peacefully in with out human interference and persecution. Most feared humans while some hated them but one in particular felt neither fear nor resentment but immense curiousity towards the human race. A young vampire misfit and first year student named Akira Sogami which everyone prefers to as the "curious little bat" is determined to learn all about the human race and all the secrets behind all the rumors and stories that have been told about them with some help from his new friends who have a little curiousity of their own to share while overcoming obsitcles and challenges along the way.
