There were many riders in the past, two being legends such as Carter Slade and Johnny Blaze, what did each of them have in common? Before death, they prayed for mercy, another chance at life to redeem themselves, even if it's making a deal with the devil. Though many who sell their souls don't go without a catch, anyone who makes special deals with Satan become his next bounty hunter, a demon straight from Hell to collect souls. Only the devil himself can set the rider free unless of course, they enjoy the feeling of burning those who have sinned.
Be careful, unless you wanna end up on the rider's list....
