Song of the water

Like many places, they are all normal, crimes happen, murder, accidents, kidnappings. All of those are normal and eventually those people are either found and such. But this town, is far from normal, disappearances happen nearly all the time here, and it mostly has to do with men, everyone brushes it off saying they left this small place to find a better job or life style, but the elders think other wise, an old wives tale is what they believe in.
